Christine L. Welton
Before law school, Christine was a paralegal for many years in Northern Michigan. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Paralegal Studies from Davenport University. Having started her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, she will always be a Wolverine—Go Blue!
She has been active in the community through her service on various non-profit boards as well as her volunteerism at Gilda’s Club, where she provides a monthly Ask the Lawyer session for members with legal questions.
Christine lives in Rockford with her fiancé Kirk; between them they have 7 children and 2 grandchildren. From April to October, when not at work, the couple can be found on their boat—Shared Delusion—in charming Spring Lake. Aside from spending quality time with family and friends, she also enjoys traveling, houseplants, aquariums, reading, genealogy, photography, hiking, visiting lighthouses, and exploring the natural beauty that surrounds us—Michigan’s Drummond Island is a favorite!
